Cover letter. 

Dear professor,  

In our last stage of this semester I have outdone myself and improved in many different ways. Thanks to your guidance and help I was able to become a better writer. I have faced many challenges thought this semester. Starting from not being such a good writer and from not liking to read to become a pretty decent writer and bettering my skills and starting to like reading more. Throughout this course I learned what it means to be a good writer and how to dive into different types of essays and breaking them down. We started the semester by diving into different types of readings and articles in order to be able to write our Language and Literacy Narrative. In this stage I was now very efficient when it comes to punctuation and using my skills to make my essays better. Thankfully, due the guidance of the teacher I bettered my punctuation and became a better reader and now I can use skills I learned in the first stage and use them to improve my writing. 

 

In the second stage we were focusing on Ethos, Logos, and pathos. In this stage, we dived into many different types of rhetorical analysis techniques such as being able to identify which type of rhetorical element was being used in different types of work of literature. We also learned how to use the rhetorical elements as well in order to make an essay which focused on Rhetorical analysis and different techniques we learned throughout the course. Throughout this course, I went back into the techniques I learned in high school and used them in my writing to prove that I know my rhetorical technique and that I have what it takes to make a strong analysis essay. This stage was very fun and intriguing because we got to learn how to bring life into our essay. I also specially liked this stage because I challenged myself in order to make the best version of my essay. I used a difficult reading to dive into and identify the rhetorical elements being used along with bringing life and vision to my writing.  

 

In the last and final stage, we had the freedom to write an essay on whichever topic we desired and make it educational. This is the stage to prove that you have what it takes to be a good writer. In this moment of your career you must show the teacher that you have what it takes to ho out to the world and be able to write good essays and prove that you are a good writer. This was my most favorite stage of this course since I had the choice to pick any topic and write an essay about it. I decided to write my essay based in video games and it’s positive impacts, and dived the other side of tue argument and my opinion on the matter. I used all the skills in my inventory to make the best essay I possibly could. I can gladly say that this course made me a better writer and realize that I have what it takes whenever it comes to writing essays. In this stage, we learned of different techniques on how to combine different sources and make them strong and demonstrate how they lead to the same main idea. I understood that it was very important for sourced to back up your claim and further in the readers information. 

 

I recommend this course to every single student who wants to become a better writer and gain more skills to bring joy and life into their work of literature. The teacher is very nice and makes you push pass your limits and find a new version of yourself. I am glad I picked this class because all I did was become better in many different type of ways and forms.
